Alright that was a lot but I think I'm going to start formulating my top 10 out of the ones I have and stop adding.

Lost the battle..

So this morning, yes barely a week into the new semester I've already skipped on class. It was not really on purpose, but i was awake but not really awake enough to convince myself that class is awesome!

But I did get up make it to the second class on time. And then went to classes three and four as well (I was late to four, but that's because I was really into my crossword and should have been paying more attention to the time) So I guess 3/4 is pretty good. But not what I want it to be. we fell off the wagon today, but I will get back on it. And win the war? I guess if we want to think of my attendance as a war.

Semester Goal

So every beginning of the semester I try to set a goal for my self, usually it involves attending class. This year, there is no goal no "attend most classes." It is attend classes unless it is absolutely necessary that i can't. Class attendance isn't optional, and I need to get that through my head.

I guess I really am my mothers daughter.

Lets be frank here. My mom is crazy at cleaning, infact she is sooo good at cleaning my sister and I are in fact pretty lazy/kind of bad at it.

But everyone one has their limits. And the bathtub in my new apartment in my eyes was unacceptable. by a lot.


So I got out the comet, some rubber gloves and an S.O.S. pad or two and went to town, and the results, well I think they speak for themselves. The tub still isn't sparkling clean by any strech of the the imagination, but it is a lot cleaner than it was before. Also the curtain that was there before and a little gross is up out of the way in the clean picture.



In the end I suppose it just proves that anyone is good at cleaning, it just has to be dirty enough for them to want to clean it. huh.

So I got a new toy

I finally decided to splurge and get a ball winder and I love it so much. I just got the knit picks one that was not expensive and it took me a while to get the hang of it, but once I did I went a little crazy. I think i'm going to wind all my balls into centerpulls I don't know how I lived without one it is so fun. maybe someday in the future I'll have enough money to buy a swift (yeah right they're way too expensive).Just a random Yarn update. I will try to start blogging more regularly and use this as my main blog now that I am home.

So here are some more videos I took at the Botanical gardens. People were playing a lot of games there, the first one is a video of people playing with a Jianzi, like a Chinese hackey sack.




the second one is a game involving a beanbag of some sort. If you watch the tiny girl in yellow and orange see gets beamed pretty hard.




I've been going to a lot of parks lately and Chinese parks are beautiful.
